The Ultimate consists of two standard 1/2 inch rods and two 3/8 inch rods that are made of aluminum oxide. Using this sharpener you can achieve a razor sharp blade in just a couple of minutes!

This sharpening system is the easiest to use and gets outstanding results for anyone who uses it. I have used a Steamboat sharpener since the 1980's with the original two stick unit. I upgraded to a Quad a couple years ago. I have since upgraded to the Ultimate and have purchased the Ultimate for all my adult children. This is a legacy sharpener that that will last a lifetime.
Gave this to my husband as a Christmas gift. He loves it. He saw it at a TAC event and has wanted one since.
